The Story of how I learned about the most difficult competition in Europe to get into as a pastel artist...
I was in Evetot, France exhibiting with other European artists..while listening to some artists talking about how difficult it was to get into a very strict juried competition coming up in Poland..I took this challenge up...
7 July 2008 I would like to inform, that the Jury qualifying the works on the basis of sent photographs to the 4th International Biennial of Pastels - Nowy Sacz 200 was meeting on 23 and 24 June 2008 The committee chaired by Mr. Janusz Trzebiatowski from Krakow, an artist painter chose 205 works of 170 authors from 24 countires. the total number of works entered to the Biennial was 533. They were sent by 193 artists from 24 countries.. The Jury decided that your work titled: "Mayne Island in B.C" was qualified to the Biennial.
