True Dedication
At age eight - Page was painting in John Lawson Park in West Vancouver.
A gentleman visiting from Montreal approached her mother, Peggy and asked to purchase the painting.
 |
Drawing was always her love and when
she studied at art school she studied lithography, drawing, design, painting
and graduated in sculpture.
Her drawing skills won her a two year scholarship at Laguna Beach School of Art.
This was a professional workshop drawing three models at one time.
Her instructor saw something in her lines as she drew the models.
Mr. Sueo Serisaiwa never said very much – he had powerful energy all around
him and her lines have the gift of expressive seeing. |
| Drawing has always been her expressive outlet,
but she was introduced to pastels after the church were she worked full time asked her to paint a
banner of the Virgin Mary for Christmas. She rushed home on the Friday and asked her mother what to do.
She said "use my pastels and we can do it together." |
