| Mayne Island B.C. This lovely pastel was juried along with 1500 other paintings with the selection of 175. This painting won an award to exhibit in Rotterdam along with only 75 artists. See Bio for all the countries it has traveled to... It is done on Kitty Wallis Paper with Terry Ludwig Pastels - I am a pure pastel painter which means the painting is 100% pastel. I was visiting Mayne Island with a painting group and we saw this outdoor market... Pears and Wild Flowers - Then to give the view some interest I placed a little girl walking to the beach along a pathway of posts on the shore... |
