One of my sculptures in Fiberglass with Bronze Filings
"Violets" in Pastel 18" x 24"
"Tidley Cove" in West Vancouver B.C.
I live on the Capilano River which runs through an ancient canyon, wind stirs the towering cedars, and mountain peaks rise to the sky. This area's rugged beauty has inspired many writers and artists, including the legendary poet Pauline Johnson. My studio is the site of an artists' colony in the 1930s, home to the noted landscape painter Nan Cheney. Among the artists invited to paint this extraordinary setting was Cheney's good friend Emily Carr. .one of hers just sold in Vancouver for Two Million.
All the paintings you see on this site are done in my studio steeped in the wealth of a rich landscape. Open Studio August 2 and 9th - Fly in to buy my paintings... Enjoy and thank you for viewing my work. Page
